This place has got to have the best martini deals in town. From 5pm to 9pm on weekdays, the Brazen Beans entire martini selection is half off at $3. They call it happy hour, but this is a happy four hours!

Located on the main floor of a converted house off of NW21st, the Brazen Bean is a comfortable place to enjoy a drink. The drink special attracts the crowds, but this establishment has many pitfalls that keep me from being a regular customer. During this happy hour they have a minimum gratuity of 17%. I'm all for tipping for good service, but after Boogie Woogies, this place hires the slowest wait staff in town.

Smoke is a necessary evil when hitting up the bar scene, but the Brazen Bean needs to make some improvements. The small space offers little or no ventalation, and an hour or two indoors feels like you smoked a pack. Of course, they offer outdoor seating, but it is limited and hard to acquire during the peak hours.

If your a fan of martini's try this place out, they have an extensive list to choose from. If your looking for a cheap glass of PBR and quick service, stick to your local dive bar. Score: 5
