Harvey's

Anybody looking for the best comedy club in town should try out Harvey's, because it is the only comedy club in town. Yeah, I'm sure it isn't as good as New York or L.A.'s comedy scene, but its all we've got. Open 6 nights a week, Harvey's attracts national comedians to Portland who usually put on a good show. Harvey's appears to be an over 21 family type setting (smoke free) but the comedians don't follow those rules. If you don't like the occasional swear word (i.e. Fuck, Cunt, Fuck off you stinking fat douche bag cunt) avoid this place.

The price is $7 on the weekdays and $10 on the weekends, but most people get in for free. If you fill out a comment card after the show, and choose to leave your phone number, you just might get free tickets. They allow you to get up to 15 tickets, for FREE!! My momma always said nothing comes for free, and she was right. If you choose to buy food or drinks at Harvey's the prices are steep. But, you could order up a glass of H2O and enjoy the show without dropping a penny.

If your the type who likes to sit up front, make sure you get in line early. Those seats are often filled right away. If your the shy type, don't worry all the seats in the house have good views of the stage.

If your sick of looking at pictures of Vera Katz for entertainment, go down to Harveys for a good laugh.
